June 24, Friday night: Performing Arts Center, Naropa University
7:30 – 10:30: Naropa Summer Writing Program event
A short film program, in which the works are juxtaposed with poetic responses by writers. Writers include Reed Bye, Junior Burke, Anne Waldman, Jack Collom, and Danielle Vogel. Films include Pull My Daisy (Robert Frank and Alfred Leslie), Colors of Concealment (Ed Bowes and Anne Waldman), White Rose (Bruce Conners), covert action (Abigail Child), First Hymn to the Night – Novalis and Two Creeley McClure (Stan Brakhage), Aubade (Nathaniel Dorsky), Study in Choreography (Maya Deren), Ostensibly (Rudy Burckhardt and John Ashbery), Cocteau Cento (Dan Boord and Luis Valdovino), and Scorpio Rising (Kenneth Anger).

SATURDAY
June 25, Saturday: VAC 1B20, CU campus
10am-1:30pm: Panel on Moving Image organized by Tom Gunning
